Viré Clessé

“Mlle Agathe”

In a nod to the new generation of the family DANANCHET, “Agathe” comes from a single
vineyard of 60 years old. Manual harvesting, ageing of 24 months in new oak barrels, this wine is
unfiltered.

Tasting notes:

This wine has a bright, golden color, reveals a fine nose, marked by floral aromas of
apricots and honey. The palate is soft and velvety, there are floral notes and ripe fruits, with hints
of hazelnut and fresh fine. The remarkable acidity of this wine gives it a very good length.

Gastronomy:

This Viré-Clessé goes perfectly with noble crustaceans and fish cooked in sauce, white
meat as a Bresse chicken with morels. It goes perfectly with cheeses like Epoisses, Morbier and
Comté.

Potentiel aging:

The Vire-Clessé “Mlle Agathe” can be enjoyed now but it’s better to keep it and taste it
between 4 and 6 years.
