Viré Clessé « Loris »
In a nod to the new generation of DANANCHET family, « Loris » comes from a parcel of old
vines of Chardonnay on limestone soils. The wine is aged 12 months in oak barrel of 500 litters.
The wine isn’t filtered, isn’t glued and aged without sulphites.
Tasting notes:
This wine has a lovely golden colour with white highlights. The nose is very expressive
and great finesse with aromas of peppermint, white fruit and fresh wood. On the palate, the wine
is powerful net and right, revealing notes of spices, citrus enhanced by a surprising minerality.
Gastronomy:
« Loris » will perfectly match with noble shellfish, fish in white butter sauce, poultry and
cream.
Potential aging:
The Viré-Clessé « Loris » can be enjoyed now but it’s better to keep it and taste it between
4 and 6 years.
